Apple Sauce

Ingredients
1) 1 small organic baby red apple
2) Water
3) Pinch cinnamon powder
4) Little Bit of Unsalted Butter

*The applesauce will taste much healthier than anything you've ever had from a store, and by selecting the right apples, it will be so naturally-sweet that you won't need to add any sugar at all. Plus, there is no need for any additives, preservatives or chemicals.

Prepared this way, the jars have a shelf life at room temperature of 2 to 3 years.

Directions

  1. Place chopped apple in a heavy saucepan.
  2. Use enough water to cover the apples slightly.
  3. Bring to apples to a simmer, for about 10 to 15mins (i remember reading somewhere anytime more that 15mins) the apples will lose it taste.
  4. Sprinkle a pinch of cinammon powder on the apples.
  5. Mash or blend the mixture, add in a bit of water if you find the mixture is to dry.
